Cleaning Your Shower

However, to ensure that your shower screens stay beautiful, they must be cleaned properly and regularly to remove scum and dirt that naturally builds up as the shower is used. Be warned – if your shower is not cleaned regularly, it's not just the looks that are affected. Mould and other nasties can form, which may adversely affect your health.

Precision Shower Screens are designed to be tough and reliable, and can withstand many, many years of wear and tear. There are, of course, a few simple measures that you can take to make sure that your shower screens look as good as possible. For instance, wipe down your shower screens with a squeegee after each use. This prevents water and soap residue from leaving deposits on the glass and 'staining' them. The result is crystal clean screens that immediately improve the appearance of your bathroom. It also improves hygiene!

To clean a shower, first start by removing bottles of shampoo and loofahs. If you have small children that love to play with old shampoo bottle, you'll know how these just seem to accumulate. Second, rinse down the shower screens, walls and floors of your shower using a bucket of hot water. After this, use bleach to remove any mildew, use equal parts vinegar and hot water to remove water 'hard spots', and finally wipe down your shower screen with vinegar.
